The house is made of peeled logs. Because it is a residential and holiday home, we decided to go for the saddle notch joint with straight cut tails. Basic impregnation serves as a protection of the house. Windows are triple pane and made of larch wood. Upstairs there is a frame construction with larch façade. The brick roof in the antique colour comes with an uneven finish. The roof has two dormers. The prominent support columns outside of the house are a cherry on top.
The roofing, which can be seen in the interior of the house, and the mezzanine leave a good mark on the well-being in the house. For the staircase landing we used the trunk of a hollow walnut tree that used to grow in the spot where the new house now stands. In order to achieve that, we had to put the tree trunk inside the house even before building the roof. The walls and the framework are enclosed with larch façade.
